New boss, new work, etc....

When my boss came back from Japan last February, the driver told me his expression when he came back it was not good. From that time, we already suspected that he will be replaced and transferred to another place. My boss dropped the bomb last May 19 when we had our summer outing in Subic beach. I didn’t felt swimming on that day and was also thinking that I would be going on another summer outing on May 20 with my ragnarok/warzone friends. Anyway, my boss after a few drinks dropped the bomb that on June he will be replaced by my current boss. He is around 10 years much younger than he is.

Days went by and our new boss arrived. Our first impression was that he will be very strict. My first boss was already laughing but the new one just kept silent. My old boss ask me to setup his new laptop and during that time my new boss somewhat opened up already. Currently he is already smiling and laughing a little.

Last night Joy’s dad threw a farewell dinner for my old boss and new one. The new one seems to be a little more comfortable already and was smiling and laughing already with Joy’s dad and uncles.

Many things might be changed when he formally takes over. My old boss said that the pipe rack business most probably will not be continued for fear of dead stocks just like in our Taiwan office. My old boss will be leaving on Monday already and I wish him luck in his new assignment.

Last Tuesday, I tried applying in Canon. Finished the test and I just need to inform them when I am available for interview. I don’t know when I will still be available and what I can tell my new boss the reason that I can not come to office. I still do not have the privilege of having leaves since I’m only with the company less than a year.

Right now I’m still undecided if I’m still leaving my current company. I’m just thinking that I can get revenge to what Madam did to me and help my new boss get settled down first if I stay.
